Robert McRoberts, M.D. is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He graduated from Amherst College and Yale Medical School. Dr. McRoberts received post-graduate medical training at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City before completing a four-year fellowship training program in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. In 1969, he worked as a voluntary physician in Viet Nam (VPVN), working in the Da Nang Province Hospital, Da Nang, South Vietnam, providing medical assistance and performing orthopaedic surgery for the civilian population of South Viet Nam.
From 1972-1977, Dr. McRoberts was on the full-time medical staff, Department of Orthopaedic, UNM School of Medicine. In 1978, he began his private practice of orthopaedic surgery in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he presently practices in association with Dr. Thomas Grace and Reza Ghadimi, P.A.-C. Dr. McRoberts’ specialty interests include total joint replacement surgery, lumbar spinal disc surgery, and sports medicine.
