With more than thirty years of experience in the medical field, Mr. Ghadimi is one of the most experienced Physician Assistants in New Mexico. He was one of the first Physician Assistants in the State. A veteran of the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam era, he received the Air Force Commendation Medal for his work in the medical field. He has been active in the American and New Mexico Academy of Physician Assistants and was one of the first Physician Assistants to serve on the Advisory Board to the New Mexico Board of Medical examiners.
As a pioneer Physician Assistants in the state, he worked in the rural areas of Northern New Mexico for many years. He was instrumental in starting the Embudo Clinic in Embudo, New Mexico. He helped establish and run the clinic in Red River, New Mexico. He has many years of experience in the orthopaedic field. He assisted in his first orthopaedic surgical case in 1963 and has been active in the orthopaedic circles ever since. More recently, Mr. Ghadimi was involved in the establishment of the Physician Assistants Program at the University of New Mexico. A school that he and many others have been striving to start for more than twenty years.
Mr. Ghadimi’s experience has taken him to many other countries around the globe as well. He has worked in such countries as United Kingdom, Kingdom of Jordan, Iran, Mexico, and Dominica.
Mr. Ghadimi joined the Academy Orthopaedic Clinic in June of 1997. His experience and knowledge of orthopaedic will help our Doctors provide an excellent service to our patients.
